Artist's Description

The Harvard vs. Yale annual football game ("The Game") is one of the greatest rivalries in college sports. The rivalry began in 1875 and features one of the greatest games in college history "Harvard beats Yale 29-29" from 1968 when the Harvard team completed a remarkable comeback to tie the very talented Yale team. This ticket is from the 1942 game which Yale won by a score of 7-3. It was the last game played until 1945 as the teams cancelled their football seasons to support the war effort during World War 2.
